We're very happy that you have chosen us to find out more about Toastmasters International and all that this amazing organization has to offer you.
Unity Toastmasters is a new club right in the middle of Toronto close to
Yonge and Eglinton! As most of our members are fairly new too,
when you join you will feel like you fit right
in immediately.
The first meeting of Unity Toastmasters was January 24, 2007 and on
March 27, 2008 we officially chartered as a Toastmasters Club. We
are a diverse group of committed and friendly people from many different
backgrounds, ages and occupations. This always makes for fascinating
and fun topics, speeches and meetings.
One of the most important qualities you will discover at Unity
Toastmaster is we have a very supportive and friendly environment.
Here you will learn vital skills and gain experience in these
areas:
* effective communication,
* public speaking and presentations,
* practical team leadership,
* conducting efficient meetings,
* critical thinking,
* active listening,
* providing evaluation and feedback,
* powerful life skills.

Thursdays, 6:45PM to 9:00PM
